Reiter Recipient of Gertrude C. Cox Award

Jerome (Jerry) P. Reiter, Mrs. Alexander Hehmeyer Professor of Statistical Science at Duke University was chosen as this year's recipient of the Gertrude M. Cox Award, given by The Washington Statistical Society (WSS) and RTI International. [Read here]

Abowd Wins Herriot Award

John Abowd, Edmund Ezra Day Professor, Department of Economics, and Director of Graduate Studies in Economics at Cornell University, will be recognized at the Joint Statistical Meetings in Boston for developing innovative approaches to solving statistical problems in federal data collection. Cressie and Wikle Awarded 2014 DeGroot Prize Noel Cressie and Christopher K. Wikle from the University of Missouri node recently won the 2014 DeGroot Prize for their 2011 book, "Statistics for Spatio-Temporal Data." [Read here]
