The Spatial Sciences Census Research Node welcomes Parmanand Sinha as a postdoctoral research associate

The Spatial Sciences Census Research Node welcomes Parmanand Sinha as a postdoctoral research associate. With a background in urban planning, Parmanand is a GIScientist, who has worked with spatial statistics methods and its application to urban modeling. He completed Ph.D. in January 2015 at the University of Texas at Dallas in Geospatial Information Sciences under the supervision of Daniel Griffith. He is working with NCRN PIs Seth Spielman and Nicholas Nagle on describing the spatial structure of the American population and designing optimal sampling and reporting units for Census surveys. Parmanand started on Feb 16, 2015.
