Forthcoming Synthetic Business Data in Canada announced

The Canadian Productivity Partnership announced on November 15, 2017 that

The announced data applies the methodology from the Synthetic LBD, developed by Saki Kinney, Jerry Reiter (Duke NCRN), A. P. Reznek, J. Miranda, R. S. Jarmin, and John M. Abowd (then Cornell NCRN) see “Towards Unrestricted Public Use Business Microdata: The Synthetic Longitudinal Business Database,” International Statistical Review, vol. 79, iss. 3, pp. 362-384, 2011 doi:10.1111/j.1751-5823.2011.00153.x. (see also the working paper version).

Ongoing development and dissemination of the methods were supported by NSF Grant #1131848 (NCRN) and  #1012593 (TC-Large) and a grant by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
